SUPPORT US THIS CHRISTMAS
ACERO UK has been extremely busy buying and packing toys for children across the Homeland for Christmas.
For the last month, we have been working with parish priests from Erbil, Dohuk and surrounding villages as well as our on the ground representatives at our apartment complex to establish how many children to send gifts to. The final total? 1800!!
Throughout November we were buying toys and electronic devices for them all, as well as wrapping them and packing them ready to be shipped.
We are so delighted to report that these have now arrived at all the churches and are ready to be given to the children in time for Christmas.
We are grateful to His Holiness Mar Awa III, Catholicos Patriarch and to His Grace Mar Abrs Youkhannan for their support and encouragement for this major project.
Our sincere thanks go to all the parish priests; Cor-Bishop Philipos (Dohuk), Rev Fr Martin (Erbil) , Rev Fr Shawel (Dohuk villages), Rev Fr Gewargis (Kirkuk), Rev Fr Yatron (Diana & Hawdiyan) and Deacon Yubert along with their committees who cooperated fully with our Trustees to make this all come together seamlessly.
