In collaboration with the Assyrian Church of the East, Diocese of Western Europe under the leadership of His Grace Mar Awraham Youkhanis, Diocesan Bishop, ACERO has provided financial assistance to 49 families living in Greece for the Christmas period. We take this opportunity to thank His Grace for his support and guidance on the needs of the Assyrian community there.

Assyrian families residing in Greece face continuous financial hardship and despite living in the country for many years do not have permanent residency. ACERO has for almost a decade assisted the Assyrian community in Greece through the Assyrian Church of the East parish of St Mary in Egaleo. With a permanent parish priest now installed, Rev Fr Shimshon Temmo, we are hopeful that this work will continue to grow for the prosperity of our brothers and sisters living there.
