On the 27th of December, a heartwarming celebration unfolded at the Patriarchal parish of St. John the Baptist (Mar Youkhannan) in Ankawa, thanks to the generosity of donors like you. Under the guidance of the dedicated parish priest, Rev. Fr. Martin, and with the invaluable support of the Assyrian Church of the East Youth Association (ACEYA) in Erbil, ACERO UK sponsored a truly magical party for children, marking the Feast of the Nativity of our Lord. These festivities were made possible through gifts sent from London at the beginning of December, and the Guest of Honour for the evening was none other than His Holiness Mar Awa III, Catholicos Patriarch.

In both their heartfelt address at the party and this year’s Patriarchal Christmas message, His Holiness emphasised the vital importance of ACERO’s work and extended heartfelt thanks to our generous supporters and donors.
