We are delighted to see the success of our education, social and religious development programme in Armenia.
Sponsored by us here at ACERO and our long time donors the Assyrian Christian Compassion Ministry (ACCM), San Jose, a five day summer church camp was open for the the children of the village of Arzni to attend. Between 16th – 21st August children aged between 4-14 attended classes teaching Assyrian prayers, church hymns and the teachings of the Assyrian Church of the East. The programme also included entertainment for the children; movies, singing, dancing, games and a daily feast of beautiful Assyrian dishes!
It is with great pride we see these children growing up surrounded by and being steeped in the culture and traditions of their nation, in the love of Jesus Christ and receiving a decent level of education. God bless all the volunteers on the ground and all our donors without whom we would not be able to do any of this valuable work.
